Christmas with Ernie & Bert (in german "Weihnachten mit Ernie & Bert") is a Christmas special spun off from Sesamstrasse, the German equivalent of Sesame Street. It originally aired Christmas 2008 (December 24 and 25 on KiKa and December 26 on NDR). It re-aired on December 24, 2009 on ARD. Similar to Sesamstrasse, the special combines a framing story filmed in Germany, with a variety of insert clips taken from Sesame Street, with each framing clip serving as a topical intro the the following dubbed clip.
