The waterfall was where Crash first fought Ripper Roo, with a set of nine stone platforms set in the river at the bottom of the first waterfall. The waterfall sent down Big TNTs to aid the player in defeating Ripper Roo. In addition, the waterfall is also the cause of the level Up the Creek; due to the waterfall, the river was created, which finally flows down the mountain as a large waterfall and joins the ocean.
