Kakita Hamatsu was a charismatic bushi of the Crane Clan and member of the Cult of the Destroyer. Hamatsu embraced the Cult because it afforded for personal power and malicious destruction. In 1133 his cell was destroyed by a group of samurai acting under orders from Otomo Banu.
