The Tok'ra weapon was an explosive device that was in use by the Tok'ra. These were incapable of actually penetrating the shields of a Ha'tak but were instead deployed on a planetary target. This weapon was thus launched from orbit through the atmosphere of a planetoid where it went through a hole in the surface and into the core. Once there, on certain planets, it trigerred a force amongst base elements and creating a cataclysmic chain reaction. The weapon was as a result able to cause an entire planet to explode that killed all its inhabitants and destroy any targets in orbit.
