Chephren was the senpet Khadi master who initiated Iuchiban to his secret. Chephren thought she could bind him to his will, but, unknown to her, Iuchiban had allied with Adisabah, a Rakshasa, who took her assistant's place and subdued her during the ritual. The khadi knew little of rakshasa in those days, so they were unprepared. Iuchiban recovered his heart and became a free Khadi.
