Montacca was a male Wookiee ex-mercenary with an out-of-the-ordinary fascination with technology of all sorts, going so far as to touch the technology of near-strangers out of intense curiosity. He was a free Wookiee during the Galactic Civil War, and a passenger on the Kuari Princess when that ship was struck by the Riders of the Maelstrom.
