Rionoj was a female Boslic freighter captain and smuggler, and a business associate of Quark's. In 2370, Rionoj visited Cardassia IV, where she was given Li Nalas' earring by a Cardassian maintenance worker who had been convinced by the Bajoran prisoner Borum into sending it to Bajor. She promised to deliver the earring to the planet, where someone would understand its importance; however, she could not make it to the planet, so she gave the earring to Quark on Deep Space 9.
