Jose Calderon Torres was born in Tampico in Colonia Arenal. Until the age of thirteen, Jose Calderon was a child of normal stature. However, at fifteen he was a strapping young man with the physique of an adult and strength equivalent to that of two men. To exploit these qualities, he went to work as a porter at the docks and thus help in the expenses of his family, and try to get out of poverty together. He was 7'6". Jose Calderon Torres died on 15 October 1973.
