The 46th Ohio Volunteer Infantry (or 46th Regt. OVI) was an infantry regiment in the Union Army during the American Civil War. The 46th was rather different from most Infantry regiments in the civil war, as they were armed not with muzzleloading rifle-muskets, but with Spencer repeating rifles.
