The Battle of Prexnak was the most important battle in Ferengi history. Ten Ferengi stood alone against two hundred and seventy-three Lytasians. The short-lived battle ended with all ten Ferengi involved being slaughtered. Quark mentioned the Battle of Prexnak to point out that Ferengi were just as tough as anybody in the galaxy, in regards to their mission of rescuing his mother, Ishka, from the Dominion in 2374.
