Julia Riviera was a Human female serving as an officer in Starfleet in the 24th century. As of 2375, Commander Riviera was the First officer of the USS Saladin under Captain Shinoda. That year, Shinoda was killed during a battle with a Jem'Hadar task force, and Riviera took command. Riviera was eventually able to guide her damaged ship to a Bakrii repair facility.
