Guthrim was one of four men, probably bandits, who a day before had ridden past a group of travellers led by Cutter (once Crokus Younghand of Darujhistan) which included Felisin Younger, Scillara, Heboric Ghost Hands, and the demon, Greyfrog - who were, themselves, walking from the city of Pan'potsun, Seven Cities, to the Otataral Sea, on their way to Otataral Island.
