Peter W. Galbraith is the Senior Diplomatic Fellow at the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation. He was the first US Ambassador to Croatia. He's visited Iraq many times since the 80's, including during the Iran-Iraq War and immediately after the defeat of Sadaam Hussein's army in 2003. Before his tenure at the Center for Arms Control, he was a professor of national security strategy at the National War College.
