Doctor Ayib Yee Pran was a male physician in the 24th century who was the son of Sonek Pran and Rupi Yee and the brother of Sara Pran Yee. A member of Médecins Sans Frontières, Dr. Yee Pran was part of a group sent to the planet P'Jem to care for the Vulcan and Vulcanoid survivors of the Borg Invasion of 2381. Yee Pran discovered that a number of Watraii thought to be suffering radiation poisoning had in fact contracted a virus called ile in medi. With replicators down, Yee Pran was forced to synthesize the cure, arithrazine, in the lab. While in medical school, Yee Pran travelled to Kefor VI, where he had also been required to synthesize a drug in the laboratory. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)
