The Hero of Zeit (時の英雄) contest is an event in the .hack games. When a player uses "Chronicling" as the Part A of the field's keywords, the Gott Statue is replaced with a Zeit Statue (時の神像). The goal is to reach the Zeit Statue in the shortest amount of time possible. At the beginning of Infection Balmung, Orca, and Sieg have the three fastest times for the event. The reward for ranking in the event is one piece of the "Time" set of equipment. Those who rank in first place receive the full set, which can only be fully equipped by Twin Blades.
