In the first season, a group of astronauts crash land on the planet Skalorr and become caught up in a war between peaceful Protectons and the evil Terrakors. The humans are divided and sides are taken. In the second season, a black hole opens, allowing the humans to return to Earth. However, the remaining Terrakors follow, pursued shortly thereafter by the Protectons.
