The Battle of Grasok Run was a three-way engagement between the United Nations Space Command, New Colonial Alliance, and a coalition of various Insurrectionist groups. The battle was the culmination of the conflict between the New Colonial Alliance and the so-called 'free' Insurrectionist groups, the latter of whom had formed a clandestine alliance with the UNSC, with the hopes of keeping those illegal settlements on the frontier independent.
