The Valtese were a humanoid species inhabiting the planet Valt Minor. The Valtese shared ancestry with the Kriosians but were, by 2368, less sentimental as a culture. The races both possessed a dark-spotted skin pattern along the hairline and down the neck and spine. (TNG: "The Perfect Mate" )
