If there are truly fearsome creatures of the darkness, then the mind whipper can without doubt be counted among them. A human body with a head resembling a squid, the mind whipper lives off draining the mental energies from other beings. Once the mind whipper is done with its vitcim -- if it survives -- it leaves it an empty shell with a void where the brain had once been. They are extremely dangerous opponents for any adventurer. Thankfully, they retreated back into the shadows with the death of Mondain.
