Mark Waid is an American comic book author who is writing the 2015 Star Wars: Princess Leia limited series for Marvel Comics. He has written numerous critically-acclaimed comic books for DC, Marvel and Boom! Studios, including Kingdom Come, Superman: Birthright, Fantastic Four Vol 2, Daredevil Vol 3 and 4, and Captain America: Man Out of Time.
