The Race::2008 Toromont CAT 100 was a Serie ACT-Castrol event held at Track::Capital City Speedway on August 9, 2008. Martin Lacombe won his first race of the season, taking the lead for good with just 18 laps to go but still managing to pull away to a five-carlength victory over early race leader Brent Dragon. Despite fading to eighth place late in the going, Jean-François Déry maintained a 6-point championship lead on Karl Allard.
