The National Republican Guard changed their name to "Great National Republican Guard" when the official name of Lodamun was changed from the "Democratic Republic" to the "Great Democratic Republic" in 3638. They are known for their close ties to the Karav Dynasty, and their authoritarian policies. Regardless, they identify themselves as Democratic Socialists. In contrast to the NLA, another nationalist party, the GNRG is left-leaning. The NLA supports a more free market while the GNRG supports regulatory policies.
