Ernest Stafford Smith (1865 - 11 January 1937) was a Church of England clergyman. Born in Bath, Somerset, he was educated at St Catharine's College, Cambridge (graduating BA 1885, MA 1891) before being ordained as a priest in 1892. He moved to the London area as a curate in Hillingdon in 1893 then of Christ Church, Albany Street, St Pancras (now St George's Orthodox Cathedral) in 1896-1901. In 1901 he became curate in Tottenham. He was elected as a member of the London School Board representing Marylebone in 1900.
