Cusick also moved up to playing Fiyero full time when he was offered the opening role of Fiyero on Chicago along with Ana Gasteyer and Rondi Reed in 2005. He ended on December 10, 2006. He also opened the Los Angeles production along with Eden Espinosa, Teal Wicks, Megan Hilty, Carol Kane, John Rubenstein, and Adam Lambert on February 10, 2007.
