Roger Morlidge (born 1970 in Bolton) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between June 2006 and April 2009, as well as September 2016, as Mr. Griffin, headteacher of Weatherfield High. After completing a degree in Geography, he decided to apply for drama school and has been a professional actor since. On stage he has appeared in productions of Wildfire, Under Milk Wood, Henry V, The Night Heron, Kes, Three Sisters, The Country Wife, The Full Monty and The Two Gentlemen of Verona.
