The Joe Satriani series (or JS series) is a line of electric guitar models manufactured by Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. It is the signature guitar series of Joe Satriani, an American guitarist best known for his instrumental rock work. It was introduced in 1990 as a personalized version of the Ibanez Radius series, which it eventually replaced in 1994. Joe got the idea to have a signature model made by Ibanez from his pupil Steve Vai who had created the JEM series guitar.
