Dereth Vanael is an orphan from Eriadu, and a long-time friend of Allison Peno. The 2 have had many (mis)adventures together. They managed to both escape Eriadu in 6 BBY, and were both rescued by the Mustafar Pirates. Both joined the organization soon after, Dereth leading the organization's organic bodyguards.
