Cryptsquirrels were fossorial rodents from Belsavis. They were a common prey of kretch. A Jedi youngling saw one of the creatures while passing through the tunnels leading from Plett's Well to the landing platform where Xzylon's RPT-1 cruiser was berthed. Cryptsquirrels were a favorite prey of kretch and pittins.
