The EAS Orion was an Earthforce Omega-class destroyer. During the Earth Alliance Civil War she fought on the side of President Clark. The Orion and the EAS Damocles bombarded civilian targets on Beta IX. The Orion was heavily damaged by the White Star fleet under the command of Commander Susan Ivanova. All crew were forced to abandon ship and were taken into custody. In 2267, the Orion and the EAS Medusa oversaw the mining operation on Regula IV.
