The Warlock of Firetop Mountain the first book in the Fighting Fantasy gamebook series in both the Puffin and Wizard series. It was written by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone, illustrated by Russ Nicholson and was originally published in 1982 by Puffin Books. It was later republished by Wizard Books in 2002.
