Simon is the central protagonist of the anime and manga series, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. He begins the story as a short, unassuming and lonely young boy, but grows up into a commanding and well-loved man. To many more, he is a legendary hero who overcame impossible odds and stands eternally as beacon for the good of all mankind. At the end of the series, he developed so much Spiral Energy in his body during his fight with The Anti-Spiral that he gained supernatural abilities.
