Bragit is a human Outcast living on the first level of the Abyss. He was literally the first person the Avatar met inside the Abyss in Ultima Underworld I, finding him being busy with trying to find salvageable items on the place where Baron Almric's guards had battled the Goblins. He told the Avatar to seek out the other outcasts of the level, describing the way and the significance of the Ankh-banner. He was later rescued by Garamon, when the volcano erupted.
