Takeshi is your typcial samurai honorable, loyal, respectful and wise. He is however a goof when it invovles sake which he seems to have an addiction to despite not getting drunk from it. When it comes to talking he talks very little only making comments or short sentances which are mostly wise lines. He also get very touchy about his eating habits...campaired to the rest of the crew he is the most civilised.
