Hera was a Sphinxian treecat and a memory singer of the Bright Water Clan. She was the leader of the first adult treecats ever to leave Sphinx to live elsewhere as a group. She was only the second memory singer after Samantha to ever leave Sphinx. (Companion) Honor Harrington named her in an attempt of match personality with name, even though she remained unbonded. (HH7) She and Nelson "assaulted" Lord Mueller when he first met them, tearing his clothing but leaving his body untouched. (HH9)
