The IRW Temarex was a Romulan espionage ship. Some time after her commissioning, the Tal Shiar decided that the ship could no longer perform intelligence missions and it became a surveyor instead. Vaebn Mairex once was the first officer of that ship, leaving that ship in 2375 because he was given the command of the IRW Rihaihan. In 2384, the RIS Bouteina was dispatched to look for that ship in the last four systems of its flight plan. She was found heavily damaged in the Khi-Cygnus system, after a wing of D7-class ships attacked her. (RIS Bouteina: "Manhunt")
