Kmiec graduated from the London Metropolitan University with Higher National Diploma in Photography. She lives and works in Melbourne since 2009. In 2012 she was selected as one of nine Multicultural Ambassadors at the Ballarat council for 2012-2014. Recently, her migration story has been selected and published in book 'My Migration" in Australia.
