A station on the Metropolitan Line, in Travelcard Zone 9, opened in September 1892 and known as Amersham & Chesham Bois 1922-34. Currently the terminus of the Metropolitan Line: prior to 1961 the line extended to Aylesbury (this route was taken over by mainline trains from Marylebone Railway Station) and, prior to 1935 on to Brill.
