Related to Comic Book Time, Webcomic Time takes place when time taken by the story of a Web Comic (or other form of serial media) takes place over a shorter (in-universe) time than the (real-life) time it takes for the comic to actually be produced. This is due to a couple different reasons. The first, and simplest, is that while inter-panel and inter-strip jumps allow them to take place over any length of time, three or four panels usually only represent a few minutes. With most strips updating three to five times a week, it's easy to spend a couple of weeks on a single conversation.
