Martijn van der Laan is a dutch defender who currently plays for the Dutch club FC Groningen. He has also played for the Dutch clubs SC Veendam and SC Cambuur. In the season 2012-2013 he won the title in the Eerste Divisie and promoted with his club SC Cambuur to the highest tier in the Netherlands, the Eredivisie.
