Summers' stunt career also includes such television series as Gunsmoke, Bonanza, I Spy, Kojak, and The Dukes of Hazzard. He has also performed stunts for such films as Spartacus (1960), The Green Berets (1968), The French Connection (1971), The Poseidon Adventure (1972), Blazing Saddles (1974), Marathon Man (1976), The In-Laws (1979), Throw Momma from the Train (1987), Midnight Run (1988), and Alien Nation (1988). Summers died in Arroyo Grande, California in 2006 at the age of 74.
