Lord Achille Parsall (LG Medium human aristocrat 2/fighter 2/paladin of Milani 4) - this grizzled veteran is the scion of one of Galt's oldest noble families. He was studying abroad in Andoran when revolution broke out in his homeland of Galt. Wanting to bring liberty to ravaged Galt, he spent the better part of 20 years championing oppressed people before seizing a rundown fortress from bandits in the River Kingdoms. He renamed it Fort Liberthane and it slowly grew beyond a remote outpost into a small but hospitable frontier town. He still plans to liberate Galt some day, but that dream seems farther and farther away as time goes by.
