[Source] Imperial sonic blasters were sonic blasters used by officers of the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. In use by Imperial officers, these pistols were deadly at close range. Although it had a wide range, it had low power. That, coupled with the fact that these blasters had limited ammunition, limited them as support weapons. Nevertheless, they were extremely deadly at close range and could kill or wound nearby troops.
