The objective in the game is to get to Bowser's castle on time. Sometimes Mario will appear and will try to kill you but you can kill him if you find a gun on the ground. If you manage to get to Bowser's castle in time bowser will congratulate you and offer you a promotion. later you can explore the Mushroom Kingdom in a open world style and do side missions and minigames.
