The fifth season of Captain Jake and the Never Land Pirates is the final season of the animated series. This season follows Captain Jake on a journey that will complete his adventures. It premiered on the Disney XD on February 14, 2020. The announcement of the season came in April 4, 2017, eleven years since the series was originally concluded on Disney Junior. Howy Parkins, the series' creator, returned as executive producer for this season. The season received wide acclaim from critics, praising it for its more intense and mature tone.
