Anna Toscane, aunt to Laisa Toscane, was a 60+ year old married woman from Komarr with grandchildren. She also was a major holder of Toscane Industries and a high-powered player in Komarran politics. It is not made clear whether or not she was the great-aunt to Laisa who recognized the early stages of the Kibou-daini attempted power grab on Komarr.
