The women's artistic team event at the Beijing Olympics was held on August 13, 2008. Each country's team was composed of six team members. During the qualification round five gymnasts competed on each event apparatus and four of those scores counted towards the team's final score. The eight teams with the highest scores moved on to the final where each country put up three gymnasts and each of those scores counted.
