John Probe was the subject of experiments by the British Secret Service and was code-named M.A.C.H.1. He was childhood friends with Maria Aragon. He wore size nine boots. Probe spent six months learning to co-pilot the Space Shuttle under the Peace in Space scheme. At his maximum running speed he could cover eight kilometers in one minute 36 seconds.
