Space Invaders Part II is a clone-like sequel to Space Invaders, but has original gameplay with a few tweaks. It now has an attract mode and intermission. If they get a high score, they could sign their name on the leaderboards. An easter egg lets you get some bonus points from the large invaders shot. The game now has a color background and the invaders descend quickly at the start of the game. The barriers will count the stages now and the core cannon has a new firing sound. This came the year after the first one came out (1979).
