Lord Blackforest was a night elf noble. He was one of the many nobles who looked to Jarod Shadowsong for leadership during the later battles against the Burning Legion. (Sund 117) He perished when he — along with a few Highborne and night elves — found Illidan trying to recreate the Well of Eternity by pouring previously filled vials of magical water into a lake on Mount Hyjal. Illidan burned the sorcerers and caused the ground beneath Blackforest to explode, throwing him into the air and impacting against a tree with a resounding crack. (Sund 354, 355)
