Michaela "Micki" Shields was a Commander who fought in Afghanistan where she accidentally bombed and killed civilians although she was cleared of all the charges. Unfortunately, that was not enough as members of a terrorist group issued jihadist threats against her and her family as they sought revenge for her wrongdoings. Luckily, though, NCIS and the FBI were successful in arresting all the terrorist cell members although the second bombing had nothing to do with the terrorists as it was a neighbor, Greta Boyen who sought to kill the Commander.
